Pokemon Pikachu 2 FAQ version 1.3 by Duel E. Lott _______________________________________________________ version history: version 1.3: added Pikachu's four different moods...plus more! version 1.2: added a new melody G "rumor" version 1.1: added new melody alarms for one PK2 to another. _______________________________________________________ What is Pokemon Pikachu2? Pokemon Pikachu 2 is a little game that measures how much movement you make while it is on. For a certain amount of steps, your pikachu generates Watts that you can give to make it happy. Using the Infared device at the top lets you trade these Watts with other Pokemon Pikachu2's (or PK2, for short) or with your very own Gameboy Color, which I'll get into later. ________________________________________________________ Compatibility list: Pokemon Pikachu2 is compatible with: Gameboy Color Pokemon Pikachu2 It is NOT compatible with: Old Gameboy Gameboy Pocket Super Gameboy Pokemon Stadium Pokemon Stadium 2 (coming soon to the US) Gameboy Advance (?) _____________________________________________________________ How to play: On Pokemon Gold/Silver, get over to Goldenrod City. Go to the fifth floor and talk to the lady there. Save and turn off the game. If you did this right, you'll see a Mystery Gift option when you start your game again.Set your PK2 to Send gift and the amount of Watts you wish to transfer. Now, turn on your Gold/Silver game and line up the infared beams and press "ok" on both devices. viola! You may now pick up your new item on the second floor of the Pokemon Center in Gold/Silver! (Don't worry, though, the game will only subtract 5 Watts from your bank per play) note: the maximum number of watts you can have is 9,999. Any more won't count, so use those watts! __________________________________________________________ Transfering items between two PK2s: I'm not sure about this, because I only have one PK2. To get Watts from another PK2, align them both up. One of them has to be set to send, while the other has to be set to receive. Under Alarm there is Melody and Custom. To get new Melodies, you need to trade watts between two Pokemon Pikachu 2's. Melody: A (default) B 100 Watts. Pokemon Trainer Battle in Gold/Silver C 200 Watts. Wild Pokemon Battle D 400 Watts. Route music E 600 Watts. Professor Oak's Lab music F 800 Watts. Pokemon Center's music - 999 Watts. makes both Pikachus happy.
